Another important thing to keep in mind is the short attention span of the average consumer: just 2.5 seconds. The solution to this brand awareness problem: video. Here are a few tips to create great video content:

Stick to shorter videos: Facebook recommends that advertisers keep video between 5-15 seconds long, so you should do the same.

Make videos readable: this includes adding captions, subtitles, and clear visuals to help the audience engage.

Add a call-to-action: we’re all familiar with CTAs & it’s important to add a CTA to your videos so audiences understand what you want them to do.

Social Media

Around 2.65 billion people use social media platforms globally and it’s important to market your brand on social media. A few things that markets should do when trying to increase brand awareness are:

Focus on the right channels: it’s important to focus your marketing on what your brand represents. (Examples include: fitness, beauty, and retail)

Update your profile page: adding images, keywords, and being active on social media can increase discoverability.

Post during optimals times: certain days of the week and times of the day can lead to more engagement than others and it’s important to know when these times are.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

SEO is an essentially part of any marketing strategy, but it can be difficult to understand. These are a few things brands can do to get started:

Audit your website traffic: add analytics to your website and get a clear view of the people interested in your brand.

Conduct competitor analysis: it’s important to keep tabs on competitors and they can even help you improve your brand.
